Maranoa Council
It is with great pleasure that I provide you with the details of Council’s experience with the design team of Brandhaus. In 2008 Roma Regional Council found itself if a somewhat unusual situation in relation to the development of the branding for our newly formed regional council. The difficulty which we experienced was that as a result of the council amalgamation process the name of our newly formed amalgamated Council was designated by the Queensland Government as Roma Regional Council, however we were aware that the communities of our regional council strongly opposed the assigned council name and were overwhelming supportive of a council name change to Maranoa Regional Council. The dilemma Council faced was how to proceed with the need for the development of branding for our new identity which is as yet still awaiting Ministerial approval. Council took the decision to call tenders for the development of branding for Council. Subsequently Brandhaus were successful with their tender and were awarded the difficult task of developing a brand and marketing collateral which could easily be adapted for either of the Council names. I personally was responsible for liaising with Brandhaus in relation to the development of Council’s branding and was very impressed with the level of professionalism and the obliging nature of the design team. I found the process of liaising with the Brandhaus team an absolute pleasure and trouble free. The development of our branding was extremely important to Council as we needed to develop branding which would unite and not polarize or be a matter of contention for our communities. Not only did Brandhaus provide us with branding that united not only our communities and also our staff, but it was creative, readily identifiable and easily adapted to suit a diverse range of marketing collateral. Roma Regional Council is extremely pleased with the result that Brandhaus provided and to date we have not received any negative feedback from community members or staff. To whom it may concern – We have been working with Brandhaus since August 2008 and are delighted with their creativity, production management and client service. We were looking for an agency able to respond to our often changing needs at short notice and within tight budgets and to date Brandhaus have met the bill. They created a concept for our current event that is bold and eye-catching and they manage to stick to brief and are consistent on delivery.
